Meet the Teacher
Friday 14th March 2025
English the children have enjoyed continuing to focus on our set text - Charlotte's Web. This week we have acted out one of the scenes from the book, focused on what the characters are thinking and feeling, written a diary entry from the perspective of Fern and sketched out what we think Fern's barn might look like using evidence from the text.
In Science, we used wires, cells, and lightbulbs to build some simple circuits, and the children loved having a very hands-on practical lesson.
Italy is our focus in Geography, and this week, we looked at the physical features that the country has to offer.
Friday 7th March 2025
This week we have had a fantastic week celebrating World Books week. We have written a health campaign leaflet, new song lyrics for Wonderful world and a letter to someone we love. We have also created some brilliant space art using different mediums.
