Our topic for this half term is the Ancient Egyptians. The children will be learning about:

• Where Egypt is on the world map
• When the Ancient Egyptians were around
• The Egyptian pyramids
• Gods and pharaohs
• The mummification process
• The importance of the River Nile

In Geography, the children will be exploring using different resources including globes, atlases, compasses. 

The children will be learning about the Northern and Southern hemispheres, The Arctic and Antartica and the Equator.
