In DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) this term we are reading Alien Rain by Ruth Morgan. This is linked to our Topic of Space and is about an ordinary teenage girl living on Mars who is sent on a mission to Earth. The book is a mystery and suspense. Through this text we will be learning how to build tension and suspense into our own stories and narrative.
