We have made the decision to teach Latin as our (not so modern) language. Our children move on to a variety of secondary schools offering a range of MFL. We believe that Latin gives our learners a strong base of the skill of learning languages whilst also using the opportunity to make links to their learning through a focus on etymology in subjects such as English, History and Science.
