  Last night Darcy, Ellis and Elise took part in the 31st Essay Writing Competition held by Hoddesdon Rotary Club. Out of nine local schools, Darcy was crowned the winner! 

  Well done Darcy!

• Mother's Day Afternoon Tea

  To celebrate all of our fabulous mothers, grandmothers, aunties and friends we held a Mother's Day Afternoon Tea. 

  Everyone enjoyed a scone and a cup of tea! 

  

• Family Book Quiz

  Last night, we hosted our first Family Book Quiz! We had a brilliant turn out from lots of families and our teachers. 

  We hope to host another quiz soon! 

  

• World Book Day 2026

  For World Book Day this year, we focused on the book 'How to be a Lion' by Ed Vere. 

  All classes read the story and created pieces of writing and art work. 

  We also dressed up as different animals and had a fashion show in our whole school assembly!

  As part of our Literacy Week, we invited family members in to read with their children in classrooms. Everyone had a lovely time choosing a book and reading together.
