This afternoon we received an email from the Green Goblin. He sent us a video explaining that he had trapped Mr Hollis and the only way we could save him was to each complete 5 of the 15 secret missions. The Green Goblin sent us each a chart so we could keep track of our missions. By the end of the afternoon, everybody in Hampstead had completed 5 of the missions and Mr Hollis was set free!!
Today was reading day. We spent time reading and talking about some of our favourite books in class. We did activities based around these books, such as designing front covers and drawing and describing characters from the stories. We brought our very own books in to school and swapped them with our friends so that we can read new books at home! Mr Hollis and other classroom teachers read some stories too us and our buddies even came down to read us one of our favourite stories.
Chinese New Year
In literacy this week, we have been learning how to write lists, and as a part of this we were writing order forms. We wrote down all our favourite things to order from a Chinese and came together as a class to call up and order them. We then got to try lots of yummy food!
New members of Hampstead
We had a big surprise today in Hampstead when some new members arrived in our classroom. These fish are called Danio fish and they now live in Hampstead. 2 of the fish have stripes and the other 2 have spots. As a class, we came up with some names for them.

This week in school we have been reading the story 'Superworm' so we had a go at making our own jelly worms!
This week in school, we made a card to send to Santa. We folded some card and drew a picture on the front. On the inside we wrote what we were hoping for on Christmas day. On Thursday 16th November, we took a walk down the road to the post box so that they could reach Santa in time for Christmas!
To remind us of all the brave soldiers who have died, our buddies came to help us make some poppies. On Friday 10th November, we went to a whole school assembly and were silent for two minutes at 11 o'clock to think about the soldiers. We laid down our poppy on our class memorial and bowed our head for a moment of silence.
