Reading

Reading is something that we are passionate about in Bond Street. We know that it is as vital to the mind as exercise is to the body. Reading can transport us to a different world and can improve our imagination. Our book corner's current theme is 'The Reading Retreat'. Here we have tried to create a space for the children to relax with a book of their choice to encourage a love of reading.

We celebrated Roald Dahl's birthday by picking our favourite book and creating a class hanging mobile to decorate our book corner. Can you spot yourself?

The Year 3/4 reading spine is a set of books which we hope will challenge and inspire our children with a love of reading. Some of the books we will be reading in class and some the children are welcome to take home. We hope that by the end of the year every child in Year 3/4 would have been exposed to these fantastic reads.
